Singapore Garden Festival I

On 13th of July, Mdm Tan and Ms Yip brought 25 members to Singapore Garden Festival for the "Sara Goes Gardening" guided tour at the Suntec Exhibition Hall. The members were divided into two groups, and were led by guides to discover facts of a variety of plants. Besides gaining knowledge, we also enjoyed the stories about rice, aloe vera, ginger, lemon grass, and other herbs and spices. We also picked up some gardening tips to grow plants for our own kitchens. After the guided tour, we went around to view the exhibits from the other booths. It was eye-opening experience, especially for those who visited SGF the first time.

I&E Cluster Sharing II

Our school hosted the W5 Cluster Inquiry and Exploration Fest on 4th July (Wednesday). On the same day, we also launched the opening ceremony of our Community Garden by our GOH, Dr Lim Tit Meng. Several activity booths were set up outside the garden for our invited guests which included our W5 Superintendent, Mrs Edelweis Neo, and representatives from other schools. We felt hounoured and happy to be given the opportunity to share with our guests our club's activities and experience. We also liked to thank teachers, pupils and parent volunteers who gave us their support during the event. Cheerio for all!
